SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT
Cardio Renal Connections conference presents new scientific research in all areas of cardio renal metabolic disorders including basic, clinical and translational research.
We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting abstracts.
Authors of accepted abstracts will receive free conference registration.
Prizes will be awarded for the Categories listed below:
Physicians and Healthcare Professionals
*Industry is not eligible for prizes.
Submissions must be original. Previously published work is not permissible.
Studies must be complete at the time of submission.
Case reports and case series should have a minimum of 8 months follow-up at the time of submission.
Conflict of Interest/Financial Disclosure must be completed at the time of submission.
One author listed on the poster must be registered and present at the conference. All physicians are encouraged to submit (i.e. residents, fellows, faculty attendings).
Commercial terminology is prohibited.
Do not include identifiable information. Follow general HIPAA guidelines.
Posters must include all authors and institution.
NOTIFICATION OF APPROVAL
Notification regarding acceptance of abstracts will be emailed to the submitting author by March 29, 2020. Accepted participants will be required to provide the content of their full poster on the provided template no later than April 15, 2020. Cardio Renal Connections will then produce the final printed poster for display at the conference.
POSTER TEMPLATE GUIDELINES AND INSTRUCTIONS (If abstract is approved)
As UT Health San Antonio is printing the posters, please use the attached template to create your poster for display at the Conference. Deadline for submission of the file to us is Wednesday, April 15, 2020. As it takes 5 business days to print, submissions after April 15th will not have enough time for review and printing for display at the Symposium.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS
Prior to submitting the abstract, each author must complete their financial disclosure via the link below. The UT Health Science Center San Antonio Office of Continuing Medical Education will be ensuring that financial disclosures are completed before official acceptance of the abstract. Be sure to note the title of the CME activity as “Cardio Renal Connections” when completing the disclosure. Failure to note this critical information on your financial disclosure will delay official acceptance.
